Families celebrate at annual Kroctober Festival

Thousands of families were at the Kroc Center for an annual spooky season event.

The Kroctober Festival had a little something for everyone. Guests got to fill their buckets with candy during the Trunk or Treat event.

There was also a costume contest for the kids, giving them the opportunity to show off their favorite characters.

A variety of games and activities were set up along the Kroc Center track and field, giving everyone a chance to win some prizes. Kroc Center Marketing Associate Gracie Palumbo said, “This year it is bigger and better than ever. We’re so excited to see the turnout that we’ve gotten today. Things are just kicking off. We’re getting ready for our costume contest. We’ve got games. We got food trucks. We’ve got activities for all ages.”

Festival goer Omayra Valle said, “I’m having too much fun here, I’m so happy this is good for the kids, especially for my son that he loves to get candy, and we are so happy with the Kroc center, you know we went to the summer camp here, and he enjoyed all the people, all the staff they are so good with kids.”

The event also included two bounce houses and a hayride.
